PLUME FILMS X CHANNEL 4

We collaborated with acclaimed poet Dan Cockerill—founder of Bang Said The Gun—on a commissioned short for Channel 4’s Random Acts series. The result is Margate, a bold film–animation hybrid that brings Dan’s moving poem to life. Through visual storytelling and lyrical voiceover, the film explores the identity of his seaside hometown before gentrification reshaped it—a love letter to a place on the edge of change.
