About the Film: Beyond the Emergency
Rebellion tells the compelling story of a diverse group of people united by a shared mission: to demand real change in the face of the climate emergency. Following Extinction Rebellion from its inception in 2018, the film offers an intimate look at activists as they navigate the turbulent journey of challenging the status quo—and often clashing with each other along the way. It’s a raw, human drama about social change, resilience, and the cost of fighting for the planet.
